She has worked as an engineer with Boeing Military Airplanes and AlliedSignal, and as the Information Technology Librarian at the University of North Texas. She is currently the Director of Access Services at Texas A&M University's Evans Library. Though this is her first book-length project, she has a number of journal publications addressing both instructional services and contemporary management issues.
