OverviewThe study, conducted in Hingoli district of Maharashtra during 2021-22, explored the training needs of farm women in dairy farming. Using an ex-post facto research design, 120 respondents were randomly selected. Data were collected through a structured interview schedule and analyzed using statistical tools like frequency, percentage, mean, and correlation to derive meaningful conclusions.Farm women are integral to dairy farming, yet they often face challenges due to limited access to training, resources, and recognition. Addressing their training needs in areas such as animal health, feeding, clean milk production, and record-keeping is essential for improving productivity and sustainability. By empowering women through targeted training programs, access to technology, and government support, they can adopt modern practices, overcome socio-cultural barriers, and contribute significantly to rural development and family incomes.
