TRADOC Pamphlet Pam 525-3-7 The U.S. Army Human Dimension Concept 21 May 2014 provides a framework for how we will select develop, sustain, and transition Soldiers and Civilians for the U.S. Army. It reinforces the tenets of the Army Profession Campaign, the Army Leader Development Strategy, and the Army Learning Model. It emphasizes the need to capitalize on advances in science and technology to ensure that our Army maintains its competitive advantage. It explores the strategies required to reinforce and integrate human dimension ideas within the Army's Human Capital Enterprise. It also brings character development to the forefront, stressing the importance of Army Values through a career of service. This pamphlet describes the broad human dimension capabilities the Army will require to meet the challenges of the future operational environment. It describes and provides a guide for how the Army will use the human dimension as a common framework for adapting and enhancing the Army's effort to achieve superior warfighting effectiveness in unified land operations. This pamphlet applies to all Department of the Army activities that identify and develop doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) solutions to support human dimension initiatives. All active Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve forces may use this pamphlet to identify future human dimension trends in the Army. This pamphlet may also serve as a reference document to agencies within the joint community that work with the human dimension ideas.
