Reviews

‘With the publication of Towards an Integrated Analytical Psychology: Return to Freedom and Dignity master teacher and psychologist Matthew Bennett offers us the wisdom of his years of experience in depth psychology as a professor and a clinician. A fresh, synthetic vision of the field with a solid, well-formulated Jungian core is provided by this remarkable text. Bennett takes us beyond statistics and “evidence based” approaches to psychology, returning humanity and dignity into a central position for a 21st century vision of the discipline.’ Joe Cambray, Ph.D., Past-President-CEO, Pacifica Graduate Institute ‘No ordinary book, Towards an Integrated Analytical Psychology: Return to Freedom and Dignity, reads like the harvest of a whole career dedicated to the indivisibility of theory and practice. Bennett brilliantly overcomes, synthesizes and reconciles long held splits in psychology to propose a necessary unified field theory which forms an invigorating guide to clinical practice.’ Susan Rowland, PhD, author with Joel Weishaus of Jungian Arts-Based Research and the Nuclear Enchantment of New Mexico.
