Presenting new analytical and policy-oriented research, this timely study examines the positive, as well as the negative social impact of globalisation in countries at various stages of economic development. The report looks at how globalisation stimulates output and income for some nations, but can also create wider income inequalities, job instability and economic vulnerability.
