Reviews

Given the recent rise in the number of earthquakes globally, this very important book will provide relevant information to the tourism industry which can help navigate future earthquake crises. What a terrific addition to the tourism disaster management literature. * Lori Pennington-Gray, University of Florida, USA * Hall and Prayag present an excellent overview of the complex relationship between earthquakes and the tourism system. While tourism destinations and tourists will continue to be affected by future earthquake disasters, this book highlights that much can be done to mitigate earthquake risks, and that improving tourism resilience can expedite tourism recovery. * Caroline Orchiston, University of Otago, New Zealand *
