Raised in San Diego in the fifties and sixties, I spent most of my time outdoors playing as hard as I could. As soon as I could drive, I started surfing. My father always encouraged me to do what I love, and living my passion is still one of my main philosophies. My spiritual journey started when I became pregnant with my son, Calvin, in 1973. Though clearly searching for something, I wasn't sure what. When I gazed into my newborn son's eyes, I was amazed to see a conscious being staring back at me. That experience led me to a deep understanding that we are all God/Goddess. This awareness would become the key to my healing practice. EFT is the most powerful healing tool I know. For years, I spent nearly every spare moment reading and studying EFT instructional videos. I learned EFT the same way I learn to do whatever I am passionate about, by really getting into it. Using the tools that Gary Craig offered, I was able to educate myself about EFT at home. I would then practice on myself and anyone else who would let me. I have lived close to nature, on the edge of a forest in northern California, ever since my son was a toddler. I birthed my daughter, Christina, in our yurt. These experiences have had a profound effect on me. Part of my spiritual practice is to take photos of the beauty I encounter here in nature. It is my intent for people to feel inspired by encountering my images. I have the good fortune to live with my beloved husband, Steve Ryals, author of Drunk with Wonder: Awakening to the God Within. We choose to experience relationship as a spiritual practice. We live off-the-grid in our yurt, connecting with the world through the internet and telephone. It is my intent to teach for the rest of my life. My book, Touched by a Miracle: EFT Healing Stories, is one way I hope to inspire and teach about the miracles that are possible by using EFT.
