Overview

It is such an honor to be able to provide this workshop to you. For so long the dying experience has been pushed to the back of the mind so that it need not be faced up to or dealt with until it is actually happening within one's realm of family and friends. The challenge I put before you is to open your mind and set aside how you have previously approached the subject of death and dying in order to realize through touch that you can be an integral part of easing away the fear of dying in the last days of another's physical existence. Death is such an incredible spiritual experience. It is the culmination of all we have thought, known, doubted and believed suddenly thrown into an arena often referred to or defined as 'transition'. I hope to dispel the definition of 'Death' as being an ugly word and show you ways to embrace and find peace within the amazing event of the physical to spiritual transitioning.
