This is the true story of a young football fan who was born and grew up in Tottenham in the 50's and 60's and was privileged to witness the local team Tottenham Hotspur create history by winning the 'Double' of League champions and F A Cup winners in the same season 1960-61. The book describes not only those wonderful players and matches but also the area of that time. The book is a tribute to not only many of those players but to the many supporters who have now sadly passed and who turned out week after week to cheer on their team to the greatest achievement in the club's history as well as those that came after. There is also a fascinating comparison to the teams of the 60's and 80's.The book contains a contribution from Steve Perryman and a Gallery of 24 original artwork illustrations of many of the greatest Spurs players from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
