OverviewChemistry is fun! The science of chemicals and chemical bonds is far from complete and offers many surprises and potentially unexpected discoveries and applications. This book is on the topic of total covalently bonded Protactinium-231. Accordingly, I present conjectures on how the isotope may be highly compressed into a form for which all electrons in Protactinium-231 molecules of two through six atoms are covalently shared. The conjectured chemical energy density of the speculative compounds is within a couple of orders of magnitude of the energy density of nuclear fissile fuels. Additionally, I explore relativistic rocket vehicle applications using large mass-ratios of the compounds and descriptive plausible methods of fabricating these materials. So, let us renew again our love of chemistry and chemical energy, a resource that has perhaps been overshadowed by nuclear energy. Have a feast of fun by reading this book. The book can be completed during a weekend afternoon, upon which you might well decide to delve further into the subject and do your own research and theoretical tinkering. Extreme chemicals are as beautiful a subject as the colorful image on the front cover of this book.
