Reviews

The suspense in the book was well planned and carefully revealed as the clues in the novel kept me guessing as the story unfolded. The villains in the book were evil and their crimes were awful and there was some violence in the story, but it was not overly gruesome or explicit. The eventual plot revelations came as a surprise to me, which is what I look for in a suspense novel. The author obviously did her research on the Canadian military and police investigation. The book painted a believable picture of working in a forensic office, investigating a crime and the Canadian military. As a Canadian, I particularly enjoyed the Canadian setting. --Cathy McNabney Angela Applewhite writes about, high-functioning women and the men who dare to love them. Her heroines grapple with relevant and realistic issues of the day as they face complex, sometimes hot-button issues. --Spoken Tome Media
