Brigette was raised in a diverse city in Southern California. At an early age, she composed songs and began writing skits and plays for school classmates. Following her graduation from college, she discovered teaching. Subsequently, she earned a teaching credential, then a masters degree in multicultural education. Brigette's focus has always been her students. Using a variety of techniques to enhance curriculum, her fondness for teaching became a driving force to educate inner city youth. Her experience in improv comedy allows her to think on her feet. She creates raps and songs to support children through complicated skills. After 27 years of teaching, Brigette is excited to expand her love for education by writing children's books.
