This book is a ‘must-have’ for anyone engaged in the study of textile tools, or who might encounter them in the course of any kind of archaeological research. I can see that I will wear out my copy very quickly … The scholarship and the methodologies are rigorous. The book is beautifully and clearly written throughout – a huge achievement given the wide authorship and collaborative nature of the project. * Antiquity *
