Author Information

Rosemary is a commerce teacher and school counsellor. She has taught in Canada and England, and worked as an au paire in Germany. (Her pre-employment German lessons resulted in one phrase committed to memory - ""Mein auto ist kaput!"") In past iterations of her life, she has been an avid singer, director and performer. She enjoys gardening, knitting, bike riding, and of course writing and reading. Rose has travelled widely, including through Antarctica, Iceland, Greenland, Alaska and North Korea. For several happy decades she and her husband Peter sang, travelled and taught singing, until Peter's untimely death in 2002. Although this is the first book Rose has published, she has four more in the pipeline.
