Greg Mayhorn was born and raised in the coal-fields of Appalachia. He answered the call to full-time ministry in 1980 while working as an underground coal miner and serving as a pastor. He has faithfully ministered the full gospel faith message through church services, radio, television and the printed page for over 30 years. Greg and his boyhood sweetheart, Glenna, have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. They make their home in Lynchburg, VA, where he has pastored Freedom Word Church in nearby Appomattox for the last 23 years.
