"When Bearnairdine Beaumont became medically unfit to fly due to `chronic poisoning', her life made a 180 Degrees U-turn. Coming from a medical background (as a laboratory assistant) before she began her flying career, she decided to use that education and became involved in investigations and scientific research into how polluted air in aircraft cabins causes ill-health. In 2016, she published, The Air I Breathe - It's Classified, which was translated into German. Her new book is a sequel that describes many colorful highlights from her flying years. It also helps to increase understanding about what causes ""aerotoxic syndrome"" and compares it to deadly carbon monoxide intoxication, which interferes with physiological functions. Bearnairdine retreated from the modern world and is now practically a `recluse', living in a beautiful, very secluded area of the Swiss Alps with her little dog 'Dolly'."
