Overview

Tomás's life seems perfect. He has loving parents and grandparents (abuelos); he lives in a green house on a pretty maple leaf lined street; he has friends and pets to play with; and he has a very special Ferrari Formula One race car set that was a gift from his abuelo's beat friend, Senõr Eduardo Garcia. Then one day Tomas's mamá tells him that they will be moving to an apartment-but his papá will not be coming with them. This news upsets his stomach and turns his idyllic life upside down. He doesn't know what to do. The bright spots that remain in Tomas's life are that he will still get to spend every day with his abuelos when his mamá is at work-and he will still get to visit the magical house of Senõr Garcia, with his abuelo. During one visit, Senõr Garcia teaches Tomás an important lesson about following what he loves, and it changes his life forever.
