What is also clever is how it's in the future without being futuristic (I often read sci-fi so certain background elements of the story fit into that bracket but the book as a whole really doesn't-if that makes sense!). The idea of the future setting and how the world has shifted politically and economically is brilliant (and scary, if a little too easy to believe!). The various plot lines fit together neatly and the characters are very well fleshed out. Highly recommended. Author InformationMaison Urwin has been a teacher of French and German for twenty years.
