Alba González es una chica de veinte años que empezó a escribir para salvarse de sí misma cuando tenía tan solo doce. En 2017 entró en depresión y dos años más tarde tuvo anorexia. Tras varios intentos autolíticos ingresó en un centro y empezó a escribir sobre sus problemas con la salud mental. En este poemario vuelca su proceso de recuperación, su lucha y sus recaídas en esta situación tan complicada que la ha acompañado toda su vida. Alba González trata, con versos sensibles y reales, su experiencia y dificultades para conseguir una vida con salud mental. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION My Sad Eyes: Words for Mental Health is a never-before published, raw poetry collection by Alba González, a BookTok phenomenon, addressing mental health.   Alba González is a twenty-year-old girl who began writing at the age of twelve to save herself from her inner struggles. In 2017, she fell into a depression, and two years later, she developed anorexia. After several suicide attempts, she was admitted to a facility and began writing about her mental health struggles.   In this poetry collection, she pours out her journey of recovery, her battles, and the relapses she’s had  throughout this difficult situation that has followed her all her life. With sensitive and genuine verses, Alba González reflects on her experiences and challenges in striving for a life of mental well-being.

Alba González nació en Málaga en 2004 y escribe desde que tiene uso de razón porque, como ella dice, la ayuda a sanar. Tiene tres libros publicados: Una vida sin salud mental, Todo lo que me queda por contar y Cicatrices que aún duelen, todos ellos sobre sus dificultades y combates por tener una vida con salud mental.
