OverviewMy name is Bravery. All of my life, the sounds of the Alaskan wilderness have embraced me. Murmuring trees, the crisp break of snow underfoot, the calls of birds stitching each season together, all wrapped in the sounds of the forests. The whispers of birch, aspen, and spruce, and the calls of the wolves that follow from season to season. Out here on my family's homestead, the Alaskan wilderness isn't just where I live, it's where I belong. I know it's trials like old friends and it's storms like stubborn teachers. The wilderness has shaped me, challenged me, and sometimes frightened me, but it has also filled my life with more wonder and magic than I could ever put into words. In To the Moon and Back- Returning to the cabin that I once feared I'd never see again. This time, however, I'm not alone. Jaxon and our granddads come too, all of us determined to finish the repairs that I promised myself would be completed one day. The wilderness welcomes us back in its wild, unpredictable way, and the adventures we share along the trail become memories I know we will keep etched within our hearts forever. Upon our return home, summer explodes with mischief, friendship, and all the joyful chaos a 12-year-old kid like me seems to attract. Cornholio the wild turkey and Crusty, the half-tailed rat, make the shenanigans that much better. There are hellos and heartbreaking goodbyes too, -lessons in patience, courage, and in the kind of love that can crack your heart wide open and yet helps it to grow stronger. This is my story-told one adventure at a time, guided always by the land that raised me.
