Titans of the Sun: When one empire is consumed by greed and War

Overview

The story begins with the collapse of the sprawling Human Imperial Federation, plagued by internal corruption and external pressure from two powerful, alien rivals: the genetically advanced, scientifically ruthless Humme (Architects of Life), and the rigidly ritualistic, armored Demonus (Obsidian Dominion). The protagonist, Siul Nandofer, a brilliant but brutal general, is exiled after the death of the Emperor. He becomes known as ""The Butcher"" for his uncompromising, savage efficiency in war. While in exile, Siul discovers a terrifying secret: a rogue faction of the Humme and the Demonus (General Zydor and the Kage-Shita Clan) are secretly allied, planning to wipe out all other life using two apocalyptic weapons-the Volatile Pulse Cannon (VPC) and the Exodus Devices (Project SUNSET). To survive, Siul must do the unthinkable. He makes a desperate alliance with the only loyal members of the enemy races: Praetor Zith (a brilliant Humme logistics strategist) and Architect Shin Jhin (a disciplined Demonus noble). Siul submits himself to the Demonus Master Shiran to learn the Redirective Flow-a disciplined martial art designed to control his own violent nature. The act culminates with Siul being unanimously elected as the new Imperator by the surviving Human loyalists, founding the Universal Imperium with Zith and Shin Jhin as his Consuls, and setting the first mission: the Aetherium Hunt-a quest for the ancient engine needed to destroy the VPC.
