Tin-n-ouahr. The silences of an author: Testimony

Overview

Foreword This book was born of a dialogue between a human being and an artificial intelligence model - namely ChatGPT, referred to in these pages as The Second Artificial Intelligence. The formulations, analyses, and proposals generated by the AI appear here as an integral part of the exchange, without any claim to co-authorship, though its didactic contribution is essential. The human writing, for its part, provides the initial impulse, the final choices, the overall coherence, and full responsibility for the work. This is less a book written by two than a publication in which two modes of intelligence meet without merging. While the characters, events, and chronological markers in this work correspond, more or less, to authentically lived situations, they nonetheless remain literary creations. Any unintended resemblance within the text would be purely coincidental and could therefore give rise to no ambiguity. This preliminary note serves but one purpose: to inform the reader that the pages about to be discovered belong to a different register from the saga itself. Here, the author returns to his work-not to explain it, but to question it. The questions that follow, posed by an Artificial Intelligence, have been preserved in their entirety, for they compelled the author to revisit his own imaginative landscape. The reader is invited to enter as one crosses the threshold of a literary workshop: with curiosity, respect, and freedom.
