Overview

"Timmy is an enigma. He doesn't know how old he is, but he does have a penchant for brightly striped pants and bold waistcoats. He is charismatic, a natural leader and is a fun filled and rallying little character. The story he finds himself in is a picture book with rhyming narrative and full coloured artwork, primarily for children in the pre teen and younger age groups. Timmy is imprisoned. The time line is near past. He escapes and, down on his luck, finds some coins. His adventure begins. He finds himself on board a sailing ship and along with some new friends, endures life under a large, tormenting character named Bruiser Bill. Their adventure unfolds, encouraging the young reader to explore actions and consequences in a fun and engaging way. So, ""Say hello to Timmy and his friends. A long and diverse career in Advertising, departmental store chains and freelance work as a Graphic Designer, character animator, illustrator and professional writing studies, have provided the inspiration to educate children, on a journey of discovery, ultimately helping to instil values and morales through the picture book. Barry has had the opportunity to live and travel in many countries, growing up near flight lines on military bases, which has exposed him to diversity and acceptance of the many and varied cultures in our global village. He learnt to fly at an early age, enjoys travel, is an avid photographer, snow and water skier. Barry currently lives in Australia with his wife and children.
