Overview

Four friends-two mismatched couples-set out on a simple road trip, only to encounter vehicles from before 1995 and an inexplicable roadblock that diverts them to a remote mountain motel seemingly trapped in October 1925. After a single night's stay, they awaken to find the motel abandoned and decayed-and themselves displaced in time. Their journey carries them through isolated towns frozen in different eras, each more unsettling than the last, until they discover an abandoned government facility carved into a former silver mine. There, a tragic accident claims one of their own and fractures the group beyond repair. Deep within the facility, the survivors encounter an artificial intelligence known as CHRONOS-7, which offers them a chance to escape their collapsing reality by navigating alternate timelines. Unable to restore what has been lost, CHRONOS-7 instead guides them through subjective paths of memory, consequence, and survival. As time itself begins to unravel, the remaining travelers must confront their pasts-and each other-to discover whether a stable future can still be forged before their connection is lost forever.
