Overview

This journal differs from the original World History Timeline Journal in two major ways: First, it is 8 1/2 x 11 (the original one was 8 x 10 ). The other difference is that this one was designed with a visual approach in mind. It has more room for students to put pictures in each section. (The original journal has room for pictures and a section for writing on each page.) Both interactive workbooks were designed to help students see the chronological order of the various people and events they are studying in World History. It includes increasingly larger spaces for the centuries, as they move forward towards modern times, to allow more room for the time periods they are more likely to study in greater depth. This journal can be used and enjoyed by students of all ages.

Author Information

When Catherine isn't traveling she is teaching, researching, or writing - or some combination of all three! She is fascinated by history, government, economics, and Shakespeare. She never tires of learning and teaching about those topics - and tries to make them come alive for students and adults alike. She fell in love with history when her family spent 5 1/2 years in Wuerzburg, Germany. During that time she wrote and published her first book, An American Looks at Wuerzburg. Now, after more than thirty years of homeschooling her own twelve children and teaching classes for hundreds of other homeschoolers, Catherine has written over one hundred books - from novels to annotated timelines to a variety of student workbooks to help make education more fun and more effective for homeschool parents and classroom teachers alike.
