OverviewTimur Designs is an architecture consultancy firm established in 1991 by Yong Ai Loon with the aim of providing personal and direct services to the clients. To date, many projects have been successfully completed and these have been the results of good collaboration between clients and Timur Designs. In 1995, Chan Wai Kin joined the firm as a partner in an effort to provide a broader scope of work and to continue to improve the level of professional service to their clients. Prior to 1991, both partners worked together at another architectural firm where they helped win 2 design competitions for the Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College and the Outward Bound Singapore on Pulau Ubin. Individually, they have also been involved in drawing up the Development Guide Plan for Changi Point, design development of the KK Women's and Children's Hospital as well as luxurious residences for the Royal Family of Brunei Darussalam. Since the formation of Timur Designs in 1991, a wide spectrum of projects have been completed, both in Singapore and abroad. Tim Nolan is a British photographer who has been based in Singapore since 1993. His work includes architectural and interior photography for international architects and designers.
