OverviewTime Sensitive weaves themes of time and its ephemeral nature. Written in the aftermath of the pandemic, the first section of the book explores political and social themes where we are over-time for change. The second section reflects on the past and the fragility of life. Much of this section is centered around the author's relationship to life, love and death and her hometown NYC. The final section reflects on being in the present and moving forward through life both individually and collectively. Many of the poems are concerned with nature, art as resistance to oppression and the paradoxes of human agency.
