Overview

Though two generations apart, they shared the same dreams; though years apart, they understood one another as though they were of one mind. This is a story of mysterious visions shared between a Grandfather and a Granddaughter. Right before a leap year dawns, her senses grow stronger and visions of the life of a boy born in a time long past as a son to a mother, filter through to her conscious mind. The images are vague and it is uncertain as to who precisely is or was his mother. In the aim to discovering this reality of reincarnation, her clairvoyance serves as an important role. However, envisaging his life brings about mishaps in her life. Additionally, her grandfather was sent into her life as a help, a man who was gifted with the extrasensory perception of, what can be described as, telepathy. The puzzle is incomplete as the visions of the true mother have not been identified.

Author Information

"Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Blue Throatwort is the author of the book, Time is my Best Friend. She spent her early years in Shah Alam, Selangor before moving to Seremban, where she completed her remaining primary and secondary education in a convent school, having admittedly better schooling life in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. Her interests are on science, psychology, parapsychology and arts. She hopes to achieve greatly through her passions in the near future. Coming from a family of five, with a set of parents and three siblings including herself, she enjoys jogging, playing ball and badminton, writing, going to the beach and sitting at the park absorbing the beauty of nature. Being active herself, she is always on the go though sometimes the sedentary option of sleeping as well as relaxing helps her rejuvenate and cope with unexpected serious headaches. Vacations, to her, are not necessarily going places, as her home and room already feels like a holiday. She, particularly, finds serenity being engrossed in pictures, images or sceneries which creates an atmosphere that enlightens her with peaceful messages. On the other hand, the television has a lesser meaning to her, in that it tends to shift the mind's focus as radiation is a deterrent to the brain cells. She does, in spite of that, find some programmes informative and humorous. Her opinion is that the lesser the television the healthier the mind. She sets a time to watching it, usually one hour sometimes lesser. One of her favourite proverbs is, ""Life is a series of experience"", because every day she faces a new circumstance which tells her or teaches her something."
