Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationGrowing up, Charlotte was an avid reader, eagerly exploring the different worlds found between the pages of books. Her passion for great storytelling helped her to achieve an A in A Level English Literature before she travelled north to read Psychology at Edinburgh University. It was here that she became fascinated with the psychology of young minds, and she left four years later with a 2:1 (Hons) Master of Arts Psychology degree. Following this, she then completed her PGDE in Primary Education at Moray House, Edinburgh University, graduating with Distinction.Nowadays, Charlotte is lucky enough to live in the lovely Forest of Dean with her husband, three beautiful daughters, two dogs, two cats, four chickens, three noisy geese and three turkeys. Aside from writing and reading, her other passions are beekeeping, walking her gorgeous dogs in the woods and camping with her family. Charlotte has always loved being surrounded by the forest, as it is so full of places where her imagination can take off and where she can easily believe fairies and other magical creatures exist. She loves to write because, even on the coldest, wettest days when no one wants to venture outside into the real world, she can embark on adventures in a world of her choosing. Charlotte was fortunate enough to be a primary school teacher in a local forest school for twelve years, and she was also the Reading Lead there. Her pride and joy was the school library, which her young librarians helped her to manage. One of her favourite quotes she loved to tell the children in the school was this: If you don't read, you can only live one lifetime; if you do read, then you could live thousands.Charlotte's passion for arts and education inspired her to write her first children's book series, Broken Twigs, for older children. She has now begun to create picture books for younger children, and Time for Bed, Sleepyhead! is the first of those to be published. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
