An engineer by profession and poet by heart, Amandeep Singh also writes Science Fiction and Children's Literature. He writes in both Hindi and Punjabi languages. He has published a pioneering book of Science Fiction short stories titled TutdayTarian di Dastaan (1989) - a new concept in the Punjabi Literature at that time. He has also published his collection of poems titled Kankar Pathar (2016). His poems are about love, peace and light, sorrows, separation and everlasting memories. He draws his inspiration from Gurbani and Sufi Poetry. His blog is www.amandeepsingh.org. Born in Punjab, India, he now lives in the U.S. पेशे से इंजीनियर और दिल से कवि, अमनदीप सिंह हिंदी और पंजाबी दोनों भाषाओँ में लिखते हैं । बाल साहित्य में इनकी विशेष रूचि है। पंजाबी में इनकी 'टुटदे तारियाँ दी दास्ताँ नामक विज्ञान गल्प (Science Fiction) कथा संग्रह और एक कविता संग्रह 'कंकर पत्थर' प्रकाशित हो चुका है, वो शहीद भगत सिंह नगर जिले के गांव नौरा से हैं। और वर्तमान में संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में निवास करते हैं ।
