Melinda Duncan has been writing stories, rhyme and song, since she was a child. Writing is what she does, and how she expresses herself within the world. Melinda began her professional writing career in Nashville, TN as a published songwriter and has had songs recorded by many Country Music Artist's. What I'm A Dog, is the first in her Children's Book Series titled, Tillie Tales. She has also written a memoir, and a book on recovery. Melinda makes her home in Nashville with her rescue cat Miss Kitty, who never tires of hearing all about Tillie. Katie has been putting her imagination to paper since her childhood. She currently devotes her time to creating illustrations that will stimulate a child's imagination trough vibrant colors and creative detail. Katie loves to work closely with an author to incorporate personal details that only the author would recognize. She currently resides with her wife and many cat's, countryside in Tennessee.
