Thuvia, Maid of Mars: Foreword by Christopher Ruocchio

Overview

From the epic John Carter of Mars series by Master of Adventure(TM) Edgar Rice Burroughs. TWO PRINCES. ONE PRINCESS. A PLANET ON THE BRINK OF DESTRUCTION. Kidnapped by a treacherous rival, the fragile peace of Mars shatters, but Thuvia of Ptarth is not a simpering damsel in distress. She proves her mettle by facing the unthinkable: how hard can it be to tame a Barsoomian lion with ten legs, an enormous jaw, and several rows of long needle-like fangs while trying to escape a forced marriage? Son to John Carter, Carthoris of Helium follows her trail across the ochre moss of dead sea bottoms to the ruins of a lost civilization. What would you do for the one you love? Where reality is an illusion and mind-power is the ultimate weapon, Carthoris and Thuvia fight for their lives-and a future that could unite two warring kingdoms. Now with a new foreword by the internationally award-winning Christopher Ruocchio, author of The Sun Eater series
