Overview

Chorkie Walker is a mass-produced miniature teddy bear, an unwanted gift, neglected and locked away in a room full of books. Soaking up the printed word and charged by sunlight entering through a window, Chorkie undergoes a transformation and becomes conscious: articulate in speech, with articulated limbs. Inspired by Friedrich Nietzs-che's Zarathustra and a wealth of other literary influences, Chorkie declares non-binary status, asks to be referred to as che, and sets out alone with just ches rucksack to find an audience willing to listen: God is still dead, and mankind is doomed if its people cannot evolve past established dogmas, find their own truths, raise their vibration, and become balanced beings. Getting the message across proves challenging and Chorkie is forced to seek help.
