Thunderbolt Frontier

Overview

In Iron Gulch, the future arrives noisy, armed, and expensive. Sheriff Eliza Kane, once a Sky-Marshal before the fall of the Icarus cost her an arm and her old life, now keeps order in a mining town built from soot, brass, debt, and stubbornness. She knows how frontier trouble works: claims, drunks, lenders, bad men, and small violences that grow if no one checks them. Then a Consortium shuttle drops a polished inventor named Dr. Thaddeus Volt into her street carrying a machine that can pull power straight from the sky. The device is supposed to be a demonstration of progress. Instead it becomes a target. The moment Volt unveils his Volt Capacitor, outlaw preacher Caleb Redd rides into town with armored followers and enough fanatic certainty to turn theft into doctrine. He does not want gold. He wants a storm weapon, a machine powerful enough to call down judgment on towns, rail hubs, and anyone foolish enough to stand in its path. When he escapes with the Capacitor, Eliza rides after him with deputy Maggie Callahan, tracker Tse Blackfeather, and the very inventor whose ambition made the disaster possible. What begins as a frontier pursuit widens into something harsher: canyons seeded with traps, Consortium interests moving behind the scenes, and a climb toward the Aether Peaks, where storm concentration, conductive rock, and old observatory ruins can turn theory into annihilation. Thunderbolt Frontier is steampunk western fantasy about power, ruin, and the brutal truth behind every miracle machine: somebody always decides whether it becomes progress, profit, or a weapon.
