At the age of six, she found herself in the red zone of the Namibian freedom war, where she witnessed unspeakable, horrific atrocities. It took her thirty-five years of broken relationships, nightmares, depression and re-living experiences when triggers would present itself, before she finally accepted the magical words: It's in the past. In dealing with the past, writing and music became her best friends. God always played a huge part in her life - even when they fought. Deep in her heart she knows He knows best, but she often wanted it to be different.
