Overview

These plays are inspired by the sort of interesting moral questions that wriggle into my brain and won't go away until I've written something weird and (hopefully) wonderful. I happily offer these plays to any amateur dramatic society free of charge. (as long as I remain named playwright) I collected these particular plays together because they all have a similar theme, and are suitable for one-act-play festivals if a group wants to chew over something deep and meaningful (or just plain bizarre.) Please enjoy them. When the Gods....... (This play was shortlisted for an international playwriting competition in 2012) When things go catastrophically wrong, just how much are we willing to give up to make things right again? On Your Walls. (This play won an award for best opening piece in a one-act-play festival in 2007) What happens when we can't forgive ourselves for evil done in our lives, and how long might it take us to forget? And Deliver Us From Evil...... Does evil have a face? Do the decisions we make in our pasts have repercussions in our futures?
