Have Fun with Origami 3D Flowers: Origami of Beautiful Flowers to Bring a Touch of Colour to Everyday Living

Overview

Create three-dimensional origami flowers. The petals are devised so that the colour surface appears as seen from anywhere, the stems are made of wire and finished like the real thing. This volume includes thirty projects - everything from tulips, peonies, sunflowers, and daffodils to cherry blossoms, poinsettias, roses, and other delicate and ornate types. AUTHOR: Hiromi Hayashi was born in Japan in 1963. While she loved origami just as much as any Japanese child would, it was not until her beloved daughter was hospitalised that she found that origami can encourage others. Just then, she encountered a book called Origami Kyoushitu-Hana by Dokuotei Nakamura and was fascinated by the art of turning origami paper into flowers. She has been creating various flowers in her own style ever since, and now resides east of Tokyo, in Chiba City.
