Overview

When Lana, a kind homeless shelter worker, is nearly robbed, she tries to make friends with her mugger. His name is Rafael, and Lana wants to guide him onto a better path. Across the city, a burglar called Kathleen enlists Rafael as her young protege. However, she is a police informant. Elsewhere, across the San Gabriel Valley, there is a spate of disturbing murders.
