And, there is a five question comprehension after each poem and the answers are in the back. In addition, the glossary can be used to test the children's knowledge of English words and literary devices. These devices can be used by the children when writing their own poems.

Daksha Patel is of Indian origin. She was born in October 1975. She has a BA Honors degree in English with History. She also has a postgraduate certificate in Primary Education that includes qualified teacher status from Brunel University. Daksha is fluent in Gujarati and holds a purple belt in the martial art of karate. Other books by Daksha Patel are also available to read and work through in the Thoughtful Thinking Series
