Author Information

Charlie Gardner was raised in a small village a few miles south of Reading. Schooled locally, he joined Lloyds Bank in 1966, retiring aged 56. This is his fifth novel, once again continuing with the character Jack Beck. His interests are Formula 1, Liverpool FC, meeting with friends and reading for pleasure. He hopes his own novels are stories enjoyed by the reader.
