He received his PhD from the Shakespeare Institute in 2021 and has held positions at the universities of Birmingham, Warwick, and Nottingham. His public history work has involved appearances with the Beyond Shakespeare Company and writing for History Today, and he most recently served as historical adviser at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall in Stratford-upon-Avon. His first book, The Theatrical Legacy of Thomas Middleton, co-edited with Anna L. Hegland and Sam Jermy, was published by Routledge in 2024.
