Thistle is a peep whose curiosity always gets him to wander off and not stay in line with his brothers and sisters as Mama Midnight wants. Even a pile of leaves piques his curiosity. Robert Wasilewski is a retiree who has managed investments, coached athletic teams, substitute taught in high school, and taught Economics at a local community college. He grew up as an Army brat, and his family eventually settled in Kensington, Maryland. Today, having retired to Hightop Mt. in the VA Blue Ridge, his favorite pastime is gathering the grandchildren outdoors and telling them stories.
