His background is in writing for video games, technology companies and books for children. He is a published poet who runs workshop sessions in schools in writing, reading and understanding poetry - and in particular inspiring children to look up to the stars and across to each other. Vivian Schwarz is an award-winning artist and author working in a variety of media to create playful interactive experiences that encourage creativity. She was one of the winners of the 2011 Book Trust Best New Illustrators Award. Her books have been translated and published Internationally. She has twice been shortlisted for the CILIP Kate Greenaway, was winner of the 2016 Little Rebels Award and was an IBBY Honour list nominee for illustration in 2018.
