Overview

In 2007, I began writing my dreams for our beloved church and placed them around the story of the first American elected pope. As I wrote, my dreams became prayers and by the beginning of 2013, my wife and I finished the story. This Pope Must Die or The Walls of St Anne's centers around the papacy of John Vincent as he confronts the lack of credibility and transparency of our Church. From the sexual scandal, to doctrine, to the church's riches, all are addressed, as are the conflicts this brings forth. Why two titles? In case the first one is too provocative. The current Pope is bringing some good things to the table, so let the discussion begin. Peace and Prayers

Andrew and Dorota Nowak are born and raised active Catholics. Andy was born in Chicago, attended Catholic grade and high schools, and graduated from Villanova University which included a three year discernment program for the Augustinian Order. Dorota was born in Poland and raised a strong Catholic during the socialist controlled era of Poland. This novel explores how to bring transparency and credibility back into the Catholic Church.
