"This Morning in Prayer Volume 2 is the second group of daily conversations I had with Jesus Christ about various subjects. All of it took place in prayer, and all of it is Biblically based, that is to say that there is nothing written that conflicts or contradicts with God's Holy Bible. The messages are short, and can easily be read in a few minutes. Try one each day and see if the Holy Spirit doesn't take the information and improve your life. Finally, the project developed one day as I was praying about what Jesus wanted me to say to a small group of email friends who were waiting for a short, to the point, inspirational message that would help them through their day. I said to Jesus, Lord what is it that you want me to say? Then He would tell me and I attempted to be nothing more than a good secretary, writing down what Jesus said, and a good mailman, delivering the message without changing it. This title ""This Morning in Prayer"", was literal, it was hot off the press."

"Martin ""Doc"" Oliver, grew up in sunny San Diego California and is the oldest son of the late Submarine Chief of the Boat Martin W. Oliver and his wife and Eleanor A. Oliver: respectively a US Navy 20 yr. Submariner/Father and an English/Home Economics School Teacher/Mother. Both parents were from Tennessee. Oliver is a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran (1966-1972), and was part of a secret US Air Force Aeronautical Chart and Information Squadron at Hickam AFB, Pearl Harbor that made bombing maps for pilots flying in Vietnam. Afterwards he attended Monterey Peninsula College (oceanography major), and then Bible University, and Bible Theological Seminary earning a PhD, MA and BA (triple-major: Theology, Human Behavior, and Marketing major). He is the author of 15 other books and is the Founder of Dr. Oliver's Consultations a one-man-band Management Consulting and Counseling Company established in 1978. Martin has been married to Diane L. Oliver since 1975 and they have 2 grown sons: Joshua, Austin as well as the late Martin Oliver the 3rd (who died in miscarriage in 1984 and who awaits a reunion with his parents in Heaven)."
