Think Like a Scientist: How to Observe, Experiment and Discover

Overview

Science helps us understand the world around us, the universe and how to live safe and healthy lives. But what do scientists actually do? Think Like a Scientist teaches readers about the different kinds of scientists, what processes scientists use to do their work, how they solve problems and why it is important to communicate results clearly. The infographic-style pages break down essential scientific terminology (hypothesis, unethical, variable) and empower readers to think about the questions they have always wanted to ask. Colorful sidebars encourage readers to try their own research and scientific experiments, and fun examples, like how scientists learned how fast cheetahs could run, show the real-world applications of scientific theory. Learn how science is everywhere!
