Overview

Choose the ruts you will get into very carefully because you may be in them for a long time. That advise was common growing up on country roads in Alabama in the fifties. During winter the gravel roads often because muddy with deep ruts. Once you entered a set of ruts it was hard if not impossible to get out of them. In our minds it is equally easy to get into one way of seeing things that we can't seem to get out of or change. In this study it is clear that we need to look closely on all kinds of topics and take a second look at them.

Leon Barnes grew up in Vernon, Alabama and has been preaching the gospel of Christ for over fifty years. He and his wife Linda were married after graduating from high school together in 1964. They have three grown daughters, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Leon has been preaching in the Little Rock, Arkansan area for over forty years and been with the Central church since 1993. Leon is a church builder, a devoted dad and granddad and a student of leadership in the church. This book is one that deals with a large number of topics and offers guidance from God's word in each.
