Rawlings Graduate School of Divinity Imagine the impact on pastors, their families, and our churches if we took the truths presented in each chapter of this book to heart. It could reshape our hearts, attitudes, and behaviors towards pastors. Gary Weaber Northeast Regional Director and Field Shepherd with Standing Stone Ministries The health and well-being of our pastors is an important topic which is rarely spoken about. We automatically presume that their lives are happy, grounded, and problem-free, but our shepherds have mental, physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual needs, just like the rest of us. Pastor Joel's book tackles this subject in a straightforward manner, helping us to understand the pastoral life on a much deeper level. And he provides a clear outline of how we can assist pastors so they can successfully continue their calling over the long haul.
