Overview"""Things I Didn't Learn in Seminary"", is a collection of short stories about the adventures and lessons learned by a young pastor in West Berlin. They begin with the story of how he made a huge mistake but then how God brought reconciliation. God used the practice of the principles of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, as outlined in his book ""Gemeinsames Leben"" (Life Together), to help form us into a fellowship of love and unity. Although it was a German-speaking church, they were very patient with their young American pastor. Over time as the church began to grow, people from all over the world started attending. Their presence was a testament to the fact that people from San Salvador, Indonesia, Ghana, England, America, India, and more, were able to worship and fellowship in love and unity together with the dominant culture. People from over 130 nations totaling three million people lived on that tiny, isolated landmass of three million people. Drugs and lifestyles of every kind were rampant. The ministry context in 1974-1982 in West Berlin was not much different than that of today in America."
