Overview

Mackenzie Eames moved to the West Coast from New York City in the hopes of finding peace and tranquility behind the walls of the Mumbai Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. Little did Mackenzie know that it would be anything but peaceful. Alone and with no family in sight, Mackenzie navigated the unchartered waters of country club living. There in the desert, Mackenzie formed unlikely friendships with a married man named Philip, a humble putter named Lydia and a kind waiter named Evan. Excited about her new home, she soon noticed red flags popping up all around her, and eventually realized she was a pawn for the Members. But she wasn't the only pawn at the Club. It was the employees that signed on who really endured the Members' cruelties. And during one Mumbai cocktail party it all went too far leaving one employee near dead. But with an unexpected alliance, Mackenzie, Evan, and a police officer, together, would right the Club's wrongs and take the ship down.
